Upcycled Gift Giving

I have been wanting to share this upcycle with you all but I had to wait until I actually gave the gift.  I found this in a Goodwill one day while running around with Kelly.

It was in really pretty good shape other than a few scratches and a loose knob.  I was instantly drawn to it of course because it is a mirror..... you know how much I love mirrors.  Anyway, I knew that I could definitely upcycle this and give it to someone special.

This was to be for my soon to be daughter-in-law, Ashleigh.
Isn't she lovely...
I wanted this piece to have a French style vibe to it.  I painted it with some diy chalk paint, then did a glaze over it with the stain that I won from CeCe Caldwells and added some gold rub and buff to the details... I love love love the way this turned out.

I hope your new year is off to a great start. Blessings to you,
