Mirror Mirror on the Wall.......

Ok.... confession time,  I have a thing for baskets, lamps, white ironstone and mirrors! Some women go all gaga over shoes or jewelry but me.... I prefer a cool mirror over a pair of shoes any day.  Give me a pair of lamps over a pair of ear rings and I'm as happy as can be.  I know it's probably something that I should be evaluated for but I would rather buy ironstone over a co-pay any day.
This was the latest mirror to come home with me.  I had been hoping to find a large mirror for quite a while but all I had been seeing was 50 bucks or more.  Until I spotted this.

Yes, it had scratches but the mirror was perfect and the original price was 15.00 and it was WACKY WEDNESDAY so that meant it was half off!!!!! Yay.... happy dance for me.  Trying to get to this mirror without going into a full on sprint...you know.... while trying to look like you were not even interested in an old scratched mirror...was difficult to say the least.  I know you know what I'm talking about.  If you are reading this, taking time out of your crazy day to take a peek into mine, then I know you know what I'm talking about because you have to be just like me...... crazy in the head for junk.... lol
I knew exactly what I wanted to do with this mirror and where I wanted it to go.
I put a coat of diy chalk paint, then sanded it up, and did a stain wash over that.  I love the way this came out and love the way it looks in the window by my bathtub.
Have you got all of your Christmas shopping done?  I have a few little things to still pick up but other than that I think I'm good to go.
Blessings to you,
PS.  by the way, everything in that last picture has come from a thrift store or Goodwill or Salvation Army.
